U6F Chinese New Year Visit

Today our class went to visit Pn. Jeya's and Pn. Loo's house. In the morning at around 9.30am I arrived at school, thinking there will be people who will be there so early. But there wasn't anyone! Anyway, people started to arrive and at 10.15am, we drove ourselves to Pn. Jeya's house.

Breakfast was meehoon and lemon juice (enough for brunch)... We had a very fun time playing blackjack...of course, I did not join in, especially when there people use real money to play...not that I am obedient or anything like that...if I knew how to play I would really risk a lot of money...haha...if I knew how to play...

After that, we went to Pn. Loo's house and had lunch there. Also was liquor... (seems like I am talking all about food stuff...now I am hungry...) After that we drove for a short distance to one of our classmate's house which is less than 2 minutes by car. Some of us played blackjack, and there were other people who played 'bluff' (yeap, first time saw them playing this game...). I am such an inexperience card game player...someone teach me!!

The visit kinda ended like that, but I really had a great time. Hope that there will be something like this again in the near future....

'Ghost Rider'

Watched 'Ghost Rider' with my grandpa and my younger siblings at Amcorp Mall... My thoughts about it after the movie? Well, the special visual effects, the sound effects were very good... the scenes were a bit too horrific (surprises me that it is not rated 18SG...), but the storyline isn't good enough... Should not be your first choice when you want to see a movie in cinemas...

Well, just my 'review' on the movie... other than that, I just stayed home and did my things...you know, a lot that I have not studied... especially chemistry when you need to know how to convert from this alkane to that alkene to that alcohol to that carboxcylic acid to that ketone to that....arrrrrrhhh! I am getting a headache!!!

Chinese New Year celebrations

So, how was your CNY celebrations? Mine was a blast! Well, the fact that all my relatives came together for a few days...how often can you make that to happen? So, to tell you how did my CNY go....well, no need long-winded explaination actually. The usual things lor... went for reunion dinner, and then the next day gave tea to grandparents, lunch and dinner, eat, get ang pow, eat, get ang pow, eat, get ang pow and more ang pows... =)

The next day after lunch we went to my other grandparents' house... then the same things happened all over again: eat, get ang pow, eat, get ang pow...

Last night, my family and I went to Sunway Pyramid to have a walk... a lot of the shops were closed, but still there were a few that opened...like the Tropicana Life shop (surprisingly). Parkson Grand was having a huge sale that ended yesterday, as they are moving to the new wing of the same shopping mall and will reopen in the middle of the year. Can't think of anything to buy though... There were a lot of Chinese families or couples there too (surprisingly too, as I thought many would have went back to hometowns). I like walking in shopping malls during this period, when there is not a lot of people, and the shops are all almost closed... Don't know why...

Happy Chinese New Year!

First of all, happy Chinese New Year to all!

Plans for this long CNY break? Well, of course the first thing will be attending our reunion dinner at my grandparents' place...which is in PJ (yeap, like 15 minutes from my house...) Then we will be spending the day there on the 1st and 2nd day of new year, and then we will visit our other grandparents' house... which is in KL (yeap, like less than half an hour from my house...) My class is planning on visiting teachers' houses on the 7th day. Can't wait for that. Other than that I guess I got to stay at home and finish up my revision...exam is coming really soon!

So, talking about CNY...I have never felt so excited about celebrating this festival than I have ever been before this... guess it is because it is the last time we will be celebrating it as teenagers. Even last time during the mid-autumn day, myself and my younger siblings still play lanterns and candles for a few nights ('cause according to past experience, mid-autumn nights has always been a rainy night).

Anyway, last of all, Happy CNY (again!)

Driving Test

1 year and 4 1/2 months. That's how long I have 'waited' to sit for my driving test. Finally last Tuesday I went for it, and I passed! I know, a lot of things that happened...but who really cares...when all that matters is whether you have passed or not! Thanks for those people who wished me luck for the test. Finally, I felt like I am at par with all those people who can drive... haha!
